One piece of furniture that I find particularly appealing is the iconic Eames lounge chair, but not in it's original state.

There is something so gorgeous about the curvy shape of these chairs, but leather is far too unwelcoming and cold for my personal design tastes.

When I start a project like this, a knock off will do just fine, since I care more about style than brand, and I imagine it being reupholstered in a mustard or turquoise velvety material, OR a floral pattern.
So for now, I will keep my eyes ever peeled for a second-hand, knock-off lounger to put into storage for when I move from this teeny apartment.

I want the finish of the second chair, but in a different color palette! I can't stand that horrible pink. I'd love it in reds/oranges/yellows, like a sunset.. or all cool tones. OR SEA FOAM GREENS, omg.
SEA FOAM GREENS. I would die if I had that chair in a sea foam green velvety material. DIE.
