Who is Luella?

Hey Pals,


I thought today I would maybe give a little information about myself, and why you should all take your time to read my blog.
This information would probably be better suited in an about me section, but writing those stresses me out. This blog post seems much more casual.


First of all, I should probably be honest right away and admit my name isn't actually Luella, it's Lindsay. Pretty much as soon as I was born I was given the nickname Lulu, which evolved into just Lu, and my dad would always say "goodmorning Luella" to me, so there you have it. Plus in the past few years it has been brought to my attention what a popular name Lindsay is for girls my age, and I am tired of sharing a name with all these ladies.
I look pretty and have borderline seductive eyes in my profile photo for this account, but in real life I probably look less put together, probably tired, and more geek-chic. See example below.

IRL me

I am a student and I study graphic design in Madison, Wisconsin. I used to hate wisconsin when I was younger, and I still hate winter, but have grown to really love this state. I live with my boyfriend and our two cats. I don't have a photo of them all together, because our cats aren't really besties.

I'm mainly transitioning into blogging because I have some real issues with Facebook. I want a place where I can share a thought or series of thoughts while networking with people from all over, and I don't feel like Facebook is the appropriate place for me to begin that adventure. I don't really know what this blog will be yet, not quite a diary, not quite a picture book, but a place for me to share what's on my mind, cool things, get feedback on work and ideas, and whatever else it grows into.
